The Habitat for Humanity house built this semester by University of Tennessee student-athletes in conjunction with UT’s MBA program will be dedicated on Saturday, Nov. 15th at 9:30 am.  The house is located on 1414 Exeter Ave. and the dedication ceremony will be held on the front lawn.

“The involvement and hard work from the student-athletes has been so great,” says Brittany Curran, community outreach representative for the women’s swimming and diving team.  “I am proud of the support received not just from my team, but from all the student-athletes.  This dedication means a lot to me.”  Brittany will speak at Saturday’s dedication.

This project began on Sept. 6, 2008.  Five different Tennessee athletic teams contributed individually throughout the semester on different sections of the house. These teams consisted of men’s basketball, women’s swimming & diving, rowing, softball, and men’s track & field.
