Lynam slams the door

Seymour’s Wil Lynam gets swarmed by teammates as he crosses home plate following a dramatic fifth-inning walk-off, two-run homerun over the leftfield fence that gave his team an 11-1, five-inning, non-district win over the Heritage Mountaineers Saturday at Don Doyle Field. Lynam’s homerun was his second of the season and scored Drew Fox, who had reached on a one-out walk. Seymour begins the final week of the regular season tonight with a contest at state-ranked Anderson County.
