PLAYER OF THE WEEK

This week’s Herald Newspaper Player of the Week in the county is Seymour High School’s Senior Brittany Mikels. Seymour’s Brittany Mikels leads the Lady Eagles into a regional battle Monday night against CAK in Loudon. Mikels’ performance in the district tournament included a 21 point, double-digit rebound game against Fulton in the second round game, followed by an 18 point performance in the championship round against A-E. Her efforts placed her on the District’s All-Tournament team.
