In the District 2-AA rival between the Pigeon Forge Lady tigers and Gatlinburg-Pittman, the Lady Tigers came out ahead. Pigeon Forge (18-3, 12-0) lead the half with nearly a ten point lead. The Lady Highlanders (9-12, 5-8) gave it their all but it wasn’t enough to pull off the win. By game ended with a score of 43-26.
Seymour Lady Eagles lost to District 3-AA Austin East in Friday nights game. The Lady Eagles (15-7, 5-2) lost by a score of 53-40. High scorers were Keely Moore with nine points with Brittany Mikels and Megan Peterson with six points each.
The Seymour Eagles (11-12, 1-6) lost 76-56. Chris Slay got it his all with 20 points in the game was it wasn’t enough to take the game with a disappointing 76-56 loss. Seymour will host Fulton on Tuesday.
Pi Beta Phi won over Pittman Center in elementary school play. The Mountaineers won with a score of 49-28. The Lady Mountaineers were successful over the Lady Eagles with a win of 48-21.
Tournaments are wrapping up and this week to show some champions in the Middle School classes.
