Gatlinburg Chamber Golf Tournament

The Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce held its 4th Annual Golf Tournament on Thursday, June 12, at Bent Creek Golf Course. The idea for the tournament originated several years ago when the Board of Directors wanted to bring its membership together and help the community at the same time. Through this tournament the Chamber has been able to provide 7 scholarships helping individuals wishing to pursue a career in the Hospitality Industry attend Walters State Community College. The tournament consisted of 33 teams vying for bragging rights as the championship team. The teams were split into three flights, Championship, A, and B Flight. 1st place for the Championship Flight was the Gatlinburg Real Estate & Rentals team; 2nd place was the Sevier County Economic Development team. First place for the A Flight was the American Communication Services team; 2nd place was the Tennessee State Bank team. First place for the B Flight was the Citizens National Bank team; 2nd place was The Blaker/Contois Team.
