UT ready for fall practice

With August upon us, the Vols are set to begin full time practices. The team has been doing conditioning and voluntary work outs most of the summer. A high number of letterman stayed the summer and many incoming freshman came to summer sessions to get a jump on the start of fall practice. Varsity and freshman officially report for practice on August 4 and begin a week of once a day practices before media day on Saturday, August 9. The team begins two-a-days on August 11 and will continue those until classes start at UT for the fall semester on August 20. UT opens the season at home against Fresno State on August 30.
