The Bears skimmed over the mud that left district rival Heritage mired down as they claimed an 8-2 win in 4-AAA Tuesday. Sevier County held a commanding 5-0 lead on the strength of goals from Ryan Trentham, Luis Ortega and Jason Ownby. Nick Miller set up Jean Teheux while Steven Jenkins got the assist on a Jeremy Adams score. In the second period, Ortega netted his second unassisted goal and Ownby scored on a Scott Adams assist. Adams put one in the net himself to close the SCHS scoring. The Bears outshot the Mountaineers 38-4 on the rain-soaked field. Loudon 2, TKA 1 The King’s Academy hosted Loudon and the Redskins came away with a 2-1 scalp in the rain game. Joo Min Kim took an assist from Andy Scalf for the Lions’ only goal. Scoring was limited to the first half as Adam Paramo netted two for Loudon in the first and the teams splashed to a scoreless second half.
