primary school holds garage sale

published: November 03 2009 04:31 PM updated:: November 04 2009 12:00 AM Seymour Primary School will hold its annual garage sale from 8 a.m. to noon on Nov. 14.
   The sale will be held in the school gym located at 717 Boyds Creek Hwy.
   “There will be lots of great deals on clothing for all ages including teen brand names, household items, furniture, electronics and tools,” said Principal Dr. Jan Moore.
   The garage sale benefits individual classrooms and their king and queen candidate in conjunction with the school’s Fall Festival.
   The Fall Festival will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 20 at the school and will include a hotdog dinner with chili, chips, cookie and drink for $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12 years old.
   Also at the festival will be children’s games, a book fair, face painting, calk walk, door prizes, a silent auction and the crowning of the king and queen.
   Moore said the school hopes to accomplish everything at the festival with the money raised at the garage sale.
