The judges will award prizes for: best overall pet; best pet costume; best human costume; best couple; best Easter hat on pet; best pet riding on, in, or upon a moving non-motorized device (i.e. wagon, stroller or pulled cart); as well as other fun prizes!
If your parents register you at the event, the fee is $15. If you register early, registration is only $10 (think of all the dog bones they could buy you with that $5 they saved!). Your parents can call 453.4173 for more details about early registration.
Also, tell your owners there will be yummy hot dog & chili boxed lunches available at the event for only $5. And, most importantly make sure they know that all of the proceeds from the Easter Pet Parade will go toward the Volunteer Services Department’s pledge of $250,000 for the new Medical Center. The new medical center is expected to open late 2009.
So, tell your mom or dad to call and register for the Pet Parade on March 15! They can call 453.4173 if they have any questions! And, please, no bullies or reptiles!
