Three members of last season's Seymour High School golf team were honored Saturday night between the varsity basketball games against Heritage.
Seymour head golf coach Gary Householder presented All-Region plaques to junior Andrew Ramsey (named to the first-team), and seniors Kevin Huff (second team) and Willie Sexton (second team). Sexton was not present at the game to accept his honor in person.
SHS assistant coach Lee Ramsey said coaching the graduating senior class of SHS golfers has been a memorable experience.
"We finished something like 85-4 through the four years this senior class was playing golf at Seymour High School," said Ramsey. "I feel honored to have been a part of their success. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience to coach a team that talented."
The Eagles finished second in the state tournament two seasons ago.
