motorcycle ride to benefit cystic fibrosis foundation

Marks your calendars now for the Ride For Their Tomorrow Cystic Fibrosis Benefit Ride on Saturday, July 21. This ride is an exciting opportunity to rev your engines and set out on the open road for a great cause-to help fund a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Registration for the ride will begin at noon at East Tenn. Children's Hospital in Knoxville with bikes out at 1:30 p.m.

The 90-mile route (approximately two hours) will take bikers from Knoxville through some of the most scenic roads in Blount County before ending at Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson & Buell located at 1820 W. Lamar Alexander Parkway in Maryville. The cost to participate in the ride is $20 per bike which includes one free T-shirt to the first 150 registrants. The ride is being sponsored by Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson & Buell, Tenn. Society of Respiratory Care, Airgas, and The Dixie Iron Riders. All proceeds from the ride will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Ride participants are invited to enjoy a funtastic evening of entertainment free of charge at THE SHED located adjacent to the dealership. THE SHED is a state-of-the-art, covered music pavilion so the show will go on rain or shine. Live music will be performed by the Dixie Werewolves and Stonesmith beginning at 7:30 p.m. Food and beverages will be available on-site at The Shed Restaurant. The general public is also invited to enjoy the evening concert at no charge.
