Dear Editor,
Last week, on an episode of the O’Reilly factor on Fox News Channel, O’Reilly called Governor Bredesen a villain and Tennessee a predator-friendly state because our so-called elected representatives won’t pass the child protection act referred to as Jessica’s Law. This law would provide tough sentencing guidelines for those convicted of molesting our children. What possible reason could our state law makers and governor have for refusing to enact such a law? The elections are only a few weeks away, and I believe now is the time to find out. Every person in this state who feels our children should be protected from these slimey lowlifes should contact their state representative and demand this law be passed now.
