Dear Editor:

I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who made Sevierville’s 44th Annual Christmas Parade possible. This year’s event was larger than ever with 70 registered entries and many more that joined us that day. In addition, approximately 2,500 parade-goers watched this spectacular event as it wound through downtown Sevierville. None of this would have been possible without the help and support of several key organizations and businesses. Thank you to the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce staff and volunteers, City of Sevierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen, Sevierville Police Department, Sevierville Department of Public Works and all parade participants. Thanks also to Larry Hill Pontiac GMC, Thomas Hill Burgin Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Volunteer Chevrolet for providing vehicles for the parade. Last, but certainly not least, thank you to First Baptist Church, which so graciously provided parking lots to serve as the parade staging area. With the continued support of Sevierville and its citizens, we look forward to the 45th Annual Christmas parade and at least a hundred more thereafter. Merry Christmas. Sincerely, Brenda B. McCroskey Chief Executive Officer Sevierville Chamber of Commerce
