Ryan’s Hope’s: It’s a case of stupidity in America

Also known as “I don’t like it” syndrome So the Supreme Court is hearing a case that involves whether or not the 10 Commandments should be allowed on public property. Apparently some people find the document offensive. Imagine that, some group of people is trying ban something because they don’t like it. I’ve never heard of that happening before. I hope you can sense that I was being facetious; it seems that everyone is offended by something and they are all organizing groups to have this something removed, destroyed or changed. When kids started shooting up schools everyone pointed the finger at video games, movies, television and music. No one seemed to point the finger in the right direction; at those mostly responsible, the parents. I really wonder why the 10 Commandments bother these people so much. Do these purveyors of justice feel that just because the Commandments are visible at a certain institution that religious intent is implied? The Commandments, as I interpret them, are a set of laws that were given to a group of people so they knew what was right and what was wrong. I do believe America has something like that as well; have you ever heard of the Constitution? Since we are going around banning things I say we get real overzealous. Let’s tear the Constitution down from being made available to the public eye. I have a better suggestion for all you stuck up, pompous, super liberals out there; don’t read it. Of course you won’t take my advice, instead you will tell me that it is your right to not want it there and I have to deal with your rights…. blah blah blah. It’s such a circular pattern that it is almost boring talking with close minded individuals that are intent to change everything in life that they dislike. I for one will be hanging a Bill of Rights, Constitution, 10 Commandments and an American flag outside my house so feel free to stop by and protest outside my door. I haven’t found a use for this bucket of fish oil yet.
