Dear Editor,
Your editorial was great this week. Yes, me too!!! I have had the same thoughts when in restaurants. Know something else that I don’t understand? I am driving down Chapman Highway in what I call the “outside lane” (not the one beside the yellow lines) and someone pulls out in front of me, as though they were in a terrific hurry, yet poke along at 20 mph- OR I am in the “inside lane” (nearest the yellow lines) and they pull out from a side street and “mosey” right over in front of me rather than staying in the outside lane. Do you understand this? If you do, maybe you can explain it to me sometime....

Dear Publishers of the Seymour Herald - Joe & Michele Karl
The Tri-county Lions Club says many thanks for your great support in working through the Seymour Schools in the collecting of Recycled Eyeglasses. You need to add approximately another 80 pair of glasses picked up at the school by one of our members early in May. That would put your count at 1200 pair or more.
You have done all this in the past twelve to six months. We, at the Tri-County Lions Club, want to say congratulations and a great big APPRECIATION.
In the United States, there are about (seven) 7 places for recycled eyeglasses for LIONS. The one we use is Roanoke, Virginia. From these places the recycled glasses are shipped through the world, including the United States.
These glasses are needed very much. We want to say again, “thanks” for your support and all the things you are doing in Seymour.
Sincerely,
Carl E. White
Dear Editor,
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Seymour Herald in their success with their wonderful publication. The Seymour Herald has only been in operation for a few months. Other local publications have been in operation for countless years, yet there is no comparison to the Seymour Herald. The quality, nor quantity is comparable.
Other local publications are trying to give away their publications. They are on the counters at the local fast food chains.
In closing, the Seymour Herald is Seymour’s only real local newspaper.
Sincerely,
Matthew Dyer
Seymour resident.
