Franklin, Eileen Cloud, 90, of Knoxville, departed this life for Eternal Rest Tuesday, September 30, 2008. She was born September 9, 1918 to Sybil and Henry Cloud. She was a long-time member of West Side Baptist Church. Eileen was predeceased by her: husband, Harold C. Franklin; infant daughter, Kathy Sybil Franklin; parents; sisters, Evelyn Bryant and Redella Gallaway; brother, Rev. Vance W. Cloud. Surviving her are her: sisters, Oleta Moore, of Knoxville, Sophia Deaton, of London, KY, and Vida Holman, of Pennington Gap, VA; brother and sister-in-law, Rex D. and Jeanette Cloud, of Black Mountain, NC.; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Special thanks go to her many brothers and sisters at West Side Baptist Church for their love and support; to Rev. Bunny Hurst, Rev. Dean Braden, Rev. Len Renbo and wife, Lois; and to Hillcrest North Healthcare and Therapy Department for their loving care of her during the past 4? years. Family will receive friends at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 4, 2008. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev Dean Braden officiating. Family and friends will assemble at Woodlawn Cemetery on Sunday for graveside services to be conducted at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please support the “Jump On The Bed” Campaign of Hillcrest-Beverly Foundation 5325 Beverly Park Circle Knoxville, TN 37918.
