Margaret ''Midge'' Anderson

Mrs. Midge Anderson, age 87 of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008. She was born on May 4, 1921, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and was raised in Seymour, Tennessee. She was the proud wife of Charles E. Anderson, whom she married on December 24, 1942, in Biloxi, Miss. Charles and Midge were inseparable during World War II; she never wanted to leave his side. Midge was a member of First Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert C. Anderson, one brother and four sisters. Surviving Midge is her loving husband of 65 years, Charles E. Anderson, and her daughter, Charlene Johnson and husband Tom of Winston-Salem. Memorial contributions may be made to Harrison-Chilhowee Baptist Academy, 202 Smothers Rd., Seymour, TN 37865. Family and friends will meet 4 PM Monday in Chilhowee Cemetery for graveside service and interment with Rev. Keith Fortenberry officiating. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
