Benjamin ''Fred'' Teaster

Benjamin “Fred” Teaster, age 62 of Seymour passed away Sunday March 30, 2008 after a long battle with M.S. and a short battle with cancer. Fred was retired from Alcoa Aluminum, he was also a barber and owner of Sir Fredrick’s in Sevierville for many years. He was currently owner of Teaster Rental Properties. He was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church in Wears Valley. He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Teaster. Survivors: Wife: Marilyn Teaster Step Children: Jeff Greene and wife Julie, of New Market, Amy Sanders and husband Daniel, of Seymour Step Grandchildren: Tash Sanders, Timothy Sanders, and Alexis Greene Mother: Lela Teaster, of Wears Valley Brother: Leon Teaster and wife Tammy, of Seymour Sister: Darlene Patterson and husband Kenny, of Sevierville Nieces: Kayla Patterson, Carissa Mitchell, Baylee Teaster Nephew: Josh Teaster Several aunts, cousins and a host of friends Funeral service 2PM Thursday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Jack Huskey, and Rev. Gerald Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Headrick’s Chapel Cemetery.
