Virginia Raney

Raney, Virginia, (Jenny), “Mimi”, age 86, of South Knoxville, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008 at UT Hospital. Jenny retired from UT Traffic office and later worked for Stanley’s Greenhouse. She was a member of Bookwalter United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Raney; parents, Roy and Iva Woods; brothers, Roy, Carl, Elmer, and Raymond Woods; sister Barbara Gouge. Daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jim Williams; son and daughter-in-law, Rusty and Lezlie Raney; grandchildren: Stacy Williams and husband Terry Wilcox; Robin and husband Allen Sharp; Nicholas and Wesley Raney; great-grandchildren: Danielle Williams and Logan and Maddison Sharp. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to longtime friend Mary Davis and the CCU nurses and staff at UT.
