Shelley, Trilby Agnes Davis –age 82, of South Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Windwood Nursing Home in Clinton after a long illness. Retired from many years of service in the Knox County School system at Klondike School and Doyle High School. A native of Corbin, KY, she was a graduate of Knoxville Business College, and member of the Tipton Station Church of Christ. Preceded in death by husband Jeff Shelley; her parents, Paul and Nell Davis, brother Cliff Davis, and brother-in-law Keating Shelley. Survived by brother and sister-in-law Jim and Joy Davis, Mt. Airy, NC; sister-in-law Mary Davis, Kingsport, TN and sister-in-law Betty Shelley, Halls, TN; sons and daughters-in-law Philip and Janette Shelley, Sevierville, TN, Doug and Tracy Shelley, Heiskell, TN; daughter and son-in-law Wayne and Teresa Bowman, Clinton, TN. She is also survived by grandchildren Joshua and Jennifer Brown, Oak Ridge, TN, Ian Brown, Fayetteville, NC, Philip Shelley and fianc? Kendra Russell, Knoxville, TN, and David and Daisy Ehrenshaft, Lenoir City, TN; and four great-grandchildren: Isaiah, Danyelle, Chelsea, and Bryce. The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home on Friday, February 1, 2008 from 6 to 8pm, with funeral services to be held at Berry Funeral Home Chapel at 12 o’clock, Saturday, February 2, 2008, Pastor Dennis R. Murphy presiding. Burial to follow at Tipton Station Church of Christ Cemetery on Henry Haynes Road. Arrangements by Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
