Edward F. Norton

Norton, Edward F. –age 82, passed away Monday, January 28, 2008. He was a graduate of Young High School Class of 1944. Edward was a decorated World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Maxine P. Norton; parents, John and Frances Norton; and sister, Peggy Duncan. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Jacque Norton; son, John Norton; grandchildren, Jennifer Norton in Bangkok, Thailand and Jack Norton; nieces and nephews, Joy Lynn, Jody and Jim Bo Pollard. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Berry Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery on Thursday, January 31, 2008 for 11:00 AM graveside services, Rev. Charlie McNutt, Sevier Heights Baptist Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Ba-Yo-Ca, c/o Knox County Association of Baptist, 7709 Westland Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee 37919.
