Fama Geneva Matthews Flynn

Fama Geneva Matthews Flynn, age 83 of Sevierville, born August 19, 1924, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 28, 2008. She was a longtime member of Antioch Baptist Church and enjoyed many friendships there. She worked until she was eighty years old in retail in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville and enjoyed working with the public. She was preceded in death by her husband Bearl Taylor Flynn, grandson Luke Anthony Taylor Moneymaker, parents Roy and Stella Jenkins Matthews, brothers Bob, C.D., Carl, and Bill Matthews, and sisters Mildred Matthews Tarwater, Joy Belle Matthews Pickens, and Elizabeth Helen Matthews Smelcer. She is survived by: Daughters: Myrna Flynn Rosenbalm and husband Gary, Kathy Flynn Moneymaker and husband Jim, Janice Flynn Wallin and husband Gary, Sr. Grandchildren: Phillip Suttles and Erica Suttles, Matthew Moneymaker and wife Marianne, Denver Vigil, Aspen Vigil, Gary Wallin, Jr., Charlie Wallin, Amanda Wallin Rolen and husband Jeff Great-grandchildren: Gabriel Taylor Cross Moneymaker, Grayson Dane Moneymaker, Alivia Newsom, Madison Hall, Mikayla Wallin, Tyler Wallin, Eli Wallin, Kaylie Wallin, Cameron Rolen Brothers and sister-in-law: Judd Matthews, Elmer and Laura Matthews Longtime special friend: Nina Bruce Flynn Special nephew and niece: Roy and Ruth Gossett Special niece: Charlotte Matthews Hubbs Many special nieces and nephews Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev.
