Donald Tweed

Tweed, Donald B. (Donnie), age 62, of Marshall, North Carolina, passed away Friday December 26, 2008 at home. He was a Vietnam Veteran with the U.S. Navy. Preceded in death by parents, Sam and Annie Tweed; grandson, Jonah Tweed. Survivors include sons & daughters-in-law; Paul and Mary Tweed, Eddie and Jennifer Tweed, Donald and Lori Tweed, daughter and son-in-law; Donna and Jacob Morris. 7 grandchildren; Matthew, Gabrielle, Emilee, Makayla, Alyssia, Isaac, Elliott. Sisters; Ginger Davis, Betty Jean King, brothers; Ronnie, Kenny, and Wesley Tweed. Special friend; Beulah Wallin. Several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at Hoitt Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Shown and Brother Kevin Byrd officiating. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to Hoitt Avenue Baptist Church, 2121 Hoitt Ave. Knoxville, TN 37917. The Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the church. Entombment will be 12 noon Tuesday at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
