Joseph Hughes

Hughes, Joseph C. “Joe”, age 74, of Knoxville, entered into rest on Tuesday October 23, 2007 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church, was the owner of Hughes and Duncan Construction, was Bi-Vocational Minister for over 40 years, and a longtime member of Beaverbrook Country Club. He is survived by: his loving wife Donna Hughes, children: Linda and husband Rex Short; Lyvia and husband Dave May; J.J. and wife Donna Hughes; Cindy and husband Kipper Stitt; Greg and wife Lisa Duncan; and Brad and wife Angela Duncan; grandchildren: Jason, Lindsay, Rex, Nathan, Dusty, Daniel, Lyvia, Ryan, Josh, Nick, Emma, Caden, Dana, Duncan; brothers: Don, Charles, Johnny Mack; sisters Evelyn, Sue and Mary. Funeral service will be on 11:00AM Friday October 26, 2007 at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with the Rev. Mike Boyd officiating, graveside service to follow at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.
