Barbara R. DeLozier

Barbara R. DeLozier, age 74 of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at Sevier County Health Care Center. She had been a member of Shiloh Baptist Church for 55 years. “Bob” was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many serving as a tax practitioner at Sevier County and Blount County Farm Bureau for 36 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Golda Rogers; sister, Peggy Sexton; brothers, Wayne and Jimmy Rogers; and brother-in-law, Benton Williams. Survivors: Husband of 55 years: Bill J. DeLozier Children: Kim DeLozier and wife Donna, Mike DeLozier and wife Mary Anne all of Seymour Grandchildren: Carrie Creswell and husband Bryan of North Carolina, Travis DeLozier and wife Elaina, John and B.J. DeLozier all of Seymour, and expected great-grandson, Baylor Creswell Sisters and Brothers-in-law: Elizabeth Williams of Nashville, Maxine and Guy Milam of Seymour, Margaret and Don Duncan of Texas Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Tom and Shirl Rogers of Texas, David and Ellen Rogers of Virginia Brother-in-law: Reece Sexton of Morristown Step brothers-in-law: Jolly Tipton and wife Doodle of Elizabethton, Gene Tipton and Louise of Clinton, Frank Tipton of Knoxville Several nieces, nephews and other relatives The family wishes to thank all of the kind caregivers at Sevier County Health Care Center. Funeral service 7 PM Thursday at Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Pastor Guy Milam and Pastor Brent Blake officiating. Interment 11 AM Friday in Knob Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be the deacons of Shiloh Baptist Church.
