Services for Vernon (Vern) C. Fisk will be held, October 24, 2007, at 09:30 AM at the following locations: East TN Veterans Cemetery Lyons View Pike Knoxville, TN 37919 (865) 588-0567 Fisk, Vernon C. (Vern), age 84 of Knoxville, died October 22, 2007. Vern was born in 1923 in Des Moines, Iowa. Preceded in death by father and mother, Vernon and Catherine Fisk. Survivors: wife of 36 years, Arlene Fisk of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Mike Orenberg; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Debbie Fisk; grandchildren, Dana and Michael Fisk, and great-granddaughter, Kadence, all of the Greater Kansas City area; stepsons and wives, Michael and Barbara Bartels and Gregory and Beth Bartels of Nebraska. Vern was also a member of Quiet Birdmen and American Legion. Mr. Fisk was employed in the aircraft insurance business and retired in 1994. Graveside service and interment will be at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with full military honors on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 9:30 a.m., Pastor Richard Elseroad officiating.
