Jerry Harvey Whaley, age 67, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2007. He was a member of Bells Chapel Baptist Church and retired from the University of Tennessee Maintenance. He also served 4 years in the United States Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Stella O. Whaley; Father-in-law, Mutt White; Brother-in-law, Bill White Survivors: Wife of 44 years: Barbara Whaley Sons: Michael Whaley and wife Fredna, Gregory Whaley and wife Sherry Daughter: Kimberly Hawk and husband Douglas Grandchildren: Amanda Keeler and husband Cody, Wesley Whaley, Celeste Whaley, Steven Whaley, Douglas Hawk, Felicia Hawk Great grandchild: Kayleigh Keeler Sister: Emma Hill and husband Bill Mother-in law: Ailene White Sister-in-law: Brenda Flynn and husband Howard Brothers-in-law: Donnie White and wife Linda, Ed White and wife Regina, Willis White Special Friends: Janet Oglesby and Bill Gregory Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Service 7 PM Monday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel. Rev. Eddie Kitts and Rev. David Gibson officiating. Interment 11 AM Tuesday in Highland South Cemetery.
