Caughorn, Jessie –age 84, of South Knoxville, passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday, October 19, 2007. She was preceded in death by husband, Thurman Caughorn and six children. Survived by son, Ron Caughorn of Knoxville; daughter, Sunny Sweat of Toledo, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Viola Lively and Trula Clabough; special niece, Janice Jinks. Funeral service will be held 8:00 PM Sunday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Clarence Gresham officiating. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery on Monday for 11:00 AM interment services. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
