Free, Herbert S. –age 80, of White Pine, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2007 at his home. Preceded in death by brothers, Victor Free, Jim Free, Joe Free, Chan Dixon and sisters, Geneva Penkava and Thelma Hill. Survivors include wife, Alvildea Free; daughter, Melody and husband, Dennis Lidzbinski; son, Herbert M. and wife, Paula Free; brother, Howard Free; sisters, Martha Dullum, Mary Robertson, Effie Wilkerson, Arletta Ford; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at Highland South Cemetery on Sunday for 2:00 PM graveside services. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
