Barbara ''Bobbie'' Tipton

Barbara A. “Bobbie” Tipton, age 67, born June 29, 1940, of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn King Hillis and Sam Hillis, brother, Charles Hillis, and sister, Myrtle Chapman. Survivors: Husband of 49½ years: Paul Tipton Daughter and fiancé: Donna Tipton Hood and Charles Ward Grandchildren: Ashley and Ryan Hood Brother: Gary Hillis Sisters: Edna Clevenger and Lucille Cope, both of Columbus, Ohio, Sammie Keller and husband Beacher of Oliver Springs, TN., Judy Shores and husband Darrell of Clinton, TN., Shirley Harris and husband Harold of Oak Ridge, TN., Brenda Little of Clinton, TN., Wanda Martin and husband Robert of Oak Ridge, TN., Kay Smith and husband Doyle of Waycross, Georgia. Several Nieces, Nephews and Special Friends Pallbearers: Ryan Hood, Robert Martin, Gary Hillis, Jim Ray, Bill Kent, Dan Harvey, Jack Ray, Chuck Ward The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at the I.C.U. of Cartersville Medical Center in Cartersville, Georgia.
