Conley Arvin Thomas

Conley Arvin Thomas, age 88, of Strawberry Plains, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2007. He was the owner of Thomas Auto Parts for 51 years. He had a love for restoring old cars. Mr. Thomas was also a member of French Broad Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Thomas. Survivors: Children: Mildred Leonard and husband Bill, Troy Thomas and wife Belinda, Vernon Thomas and wife Kathy, all of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee. Grandchildren: Eugene Williams, Willie Leonard, and Jamie Phillips Great-grandchildren: Coby Williams and 4 week old Hunter Phillips Sister: Dorothy Williams Several Nieces and Nephews Special friends: Jack Huskey, Pete Coleman, Bud Carroll, and Bill Drinnen Funeral service 7 PM Friday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev.
