Charles Gray Jr.

Gray, Charles Jr. ?Chili?, age 74, of Knoxville, passed away on Sunday June 24, 2007. He was a member of Branville Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: son Riley Gray; parents Charles Sr. and Charity Gray; sisters: Dorothy Jackson, Joyce Davis, and Mary Helen Nichols; and brother William ?Bill? Gray. He is survived by: devoted and loving wife Helen Gray; daughters: Carolyn Young of Clinton; Debbie and husband David Wall of Claxton; sons: Danny and wife Meredith Bell of Elizabethton, and Andrew Gray of Mohawk; stepchildren: Rod Gallagher, David Gallagher, Teresa Large, and Preston Mealer, all of Knoxville; 12 Grandchildren; sister Stella Cooper; special nieces Ann Bruce and Sue Culbert; and many other family and friends. Funeral service will be on Monday June 25th at 8:00PM at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Justin Walker and Rev. Charles Parker officiating. Graveside service will be on Tuesday at 12:00 PM at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Dennis Burkhart, Walt Lowe, Darrel Beckner, Jack Roberts, Donnie McDaniels, and Gabe Stooksbury. Honorary pallbearers will be: Edward Weaver, Shannon Burkhart, Jess Roberts, James Stooksbury, Jim Williamson, and Boyd Earl. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 PM prior to the funeral service.
