Dr. Al Rutledge

Services for Dr. Al Rutledge will be held, June 24, 2007, at 08:00 PM at the following locations: Highland Memorial Chapel 5315 Kingston Pike Knoxville, TN 37919 (865) 588-0567 Rutledge, Dr. Al of Knoxville, passed away Friday, June 22, 2007. He was a member of West Park Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He was a member of the Fruit and Vegetable Association and was a crop consultant following his retirement from U.T. after 30 years? service as a professor. Preceded in death by parents, Vance and Ethel Rutledge, and brothers Henry and Dorman Rutledge. Survived by his wife, Doris Dickey Rutledge, brother, Everett Rutledge, sister Reatha Jones, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Highland Memorial Chapel, services to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob St. John officiating.
