Fostine ''Tenny'' Moody

Fostine (Tenny) Moody, age 91 of Kodak, passed away Friday, June 22, 2007 at the Sevier County Health Care Center. She was born July 30, 1915 to Edd and Erie McAfee Jennings. Tenny was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She and her husband owned and operated Midway Grocery for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Moody, and sister JoAnn Akins. Survivors: Sisters: Marjorie Mount of Strawplains, Nancy Mount (whom she raised) and husband John of Kodak Special nieces and nephews: Carolyn and Lowell Glenn and daughter Jill Allen, Judy and James Miles and children, Eddie and Carolanne Gregg and Glenda Mount and daughter Becki Pam and Randy Glenn and son Andy Special friends: Johnny and Betty Abbott Our family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Sevier County Health care Center for all the care and love shown to Tenny and her family. Graveside service 10:30 AM Tuesday at Thorn Grove Cemetery with Rev. Scott Andrews officiating. Serving as Pallbearers Lowell Glenn, James Miles, Gregg Mount, Randy Glenn, Johnny Abbott and Phil Merritt. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
