Reba Jernigan

Jernigan, Reba Pauline, age 84, of North Knoxville, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital. She retired, after many years service, from Palm Beach Clothing Co. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by husband, Gene Jernigan; parents, Frank and Clannie Swafford; brothers, Roy and Ray, all from Livingston, and Robert Swafford (Bob) of Dayton, OH. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Freda Jernigan; grandson, Zane Jernigan; brother and sister-in-law, John and Martha Swafford of Anderson, IN; several nieces and nephews, many close friends and a loyal companion, ?Smokey.? Graveside service will be Tuesday 2 pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery with Pastor Dave Mason officiating. Honorary pallbearers include Greg Jernigan, Eddie and Davy Floyd, and Lynn McCoy. Memorial donations may be made to Second Baptist Church, 2909 N. Broadway.
