Sarah Elizabeth Underwood

Underwood, Sarah Elizabeth ?age 82, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2007. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Seymour and enjoyed gardening, cooking and Christian music. Preceded in death by husband, James William ?Bill? Underwood; parents, Walter and Pearl Queen of Georgia; grandson, Russell Groff; several brothers and sisters. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Sandra Underwood of Dunn, North Carolina; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Lowell Groff of Seymour, daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Stanley Meadors of Fancy Gap, Virginia; granddaughters, Diane Campbell, Angela Worley, Sarah Campbell, Jane Groff; grandsons, Earl Underwood, Walter Groff; great-grandchildren, Stephanie Campbell, McKenzie Worley, Spencer Worley, Matthew Campbell, Ethan Groff; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens on Sunday for 12 Noon graveside services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Charles H. McKinney Masonic Lodge ?Widows and Orphans Fund, c/o Masonic Temple, 505 Locust Street, Knoxville, Tennessee 37909. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Saturday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
