Exie Sevier Finchum Chaney, 95, of Sevierville passed away Saturday June 2, 2007. She was known for being a hard worker her entire life, in her early years at Bush Brothers and also on the family farm. Preceded in death by her husband; A. B. (Babe ) Chaney, Daughter-in-law; Doris Chaney and several brothers and sisters. Survivors: Son; Willie Chaney Granddaughter; Kathy Proffitt and husband Tony Grandson; Nicky Darrell Chaney Great grandsons; Matt Proffitt, Jake Proffitt, and Sam Chaney and girl friend Misty Byrd Sister; Imogene Finchum Thomas Several nieces and nephews Funeral service 7 PM Monday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home.
