Everette Earl Smith

Everette Earl Smith, age 85 of Kodak, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2007. He was a World War II veteran and a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church. He was a rural carrier for the Kodak post office for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his first wife Helen Smith and his son Colin Smith, parents George and Elizabeth Smith, two brothers, seven sisters. Survivors: Wife: Melva K. “Peggy” Smith Step-daughters and their husbands: Barbara and Johnny Irwin, Carol and Joel Chambers, Betty and Earl Julian Step-grandchildren: Chris Corum, Lori Mitchell Step-great-grandchildren: Taylor, Kelly, and Jill Corum Several nieces and nephews, including special nephew: Jerry Stiles In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beech Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, 337 West Mount Road, Kodak, TN 37764. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Saturday in Beech Springs Cemetery for graveside service and interment with Rev. Bobby Hancock officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
