Inger Whaley Allen

Inger Whaley Allen, age 97 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2007. She was born December 10, 1909, in the Big Greenbrier section of what is now the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. She was preceded in death by her husband Loren E. Allen, parents Harve and Letha Ogle Whaley, brothers Hollen, Leslie, Hansel, Ben, and Alvin Whaley, and nephew Bogart Bull. Survivors: Daughter: Dorothy Maples Roberts and husband Robert Grandchildren: Betsy Cate, Tom Cate and wife Marilyn, Susan Cate Greengold and husband Dan Great-grandchildren: David Kear and wife Nicole, Kari Lyn and Jason Bennett, Steven, Kristin, and Ryan Hintz Great-great-grandchildren: Giovanni David Kear, Jorga Mackenzie Bennett, Stella Vera Kear Sisters: Trula Bull, Eva Henry, Kathleen Dietz Nieces and nephews: Marty and Eldon Elmer, Carol and Keith Walden, Sara Bull, Letha and Tom Hopwood, Inger Ruth and Fred Ponton, Joe and Violet Whaley, Jerry and Barbara Whaley Memorial service 7 PM Friday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev.
