''Kodak'' Clarence Ledford

“Kodak” Clarence Ledford, age 65, of Seymour, passed away at his son’s home in Washburn Tuesday, July 24, 2007, following a stroke he had in October 2006 that he never recovered from. He had retired from Seymour Post office in early 2006, and had been employed by Stop and Save-Seymour and also drove for KMC for several years. He was preceded in death by parents John and Anna Lee Ledford, son, Fredrick Ledford, step-son, Joe Majors, sister Mary Ann Williams, and brother, Kenneth Vaughn. Survivors: Son: David Ledford and wife Pat of Maynardville Grandchildren: David, Bethany, Joshua, and Cody Ledford Brothers: Twin brother, “Kodak” Clyde Ledford of Knoxville, Rex Phillips and wife Pat of Sevierville, Fred Ledford and wife Juanita of Sevierville Sisters: Evelyn Green and husband Jay of North Carolina, Rachel Matthews of Florida, Diane Ledford of Talbott, and Louise Patterson and husband Mike of Sevierville Special friend: Kathy Stephens Sister-in-law: Shirley Vaughn Aunts: Vivian McMahan of Maryville, Eula Townsend and husband Claude of Texas Uncles: Jay Pittman and wife Doris of North Carolina, and Fred Phillips of California Many Nephews, Nieces and Cousins Many many special friends In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to benefit the family. Graveside service and interment 2 PM Friday in Atchley’s Seymour Memory Gardens with Rev. Willard Nicley and Rev.Wayne Dunn officiating.
