Lily Marberry Watson

Lily Marberry Watson, age 77 of Powell, was called home to be with Jesus on Sunday, July 8, 2007. She was retired from the family business, D & D Vending, Corp. as the office manager. She was a devoted Sunday School teacher for 25 years and loved the small children. She is preceded in death by her mother, Penolope Marberry; brother, Rogers Marberry; sister, Anita Stone. Survivors: Husband: Howard Watson Sons and daughter-in-laws: Dan Watson and wife Trish, Tommy Watson and wife Melissa of LaFayette, GA, and David Watson and wife Susan. Sister and brother-in-law: Betty Lewis and husband Clayteen of Greenville, SC. Sister-in-laws: Nancy Marberry of Mansfield, OH and Eloise Moulton of Knoxville. Eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Special family friends: Helen Ackers, and Joyce Watson The family would like to give special thanks to St. Mary’s Hospice and Special Care Service caregivers for the wonderful service and care she received while at home. Memorial may be made to Clear Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, 8518 Thompson School Road, Corryton, TN 37721 Honorary pallbearers: Mathew Watson, Jason Watson, Bill Vaughn, Howell Watson, Jacob Watson, Wayne Watson, David Wells, Brown Lloyd, and Cody Ward. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday with Funeral service at 8 PM, at Clear Springs Baptist Church in Corryton. Interment 11 AM Thursday in Atchley’s Seymour Memory Gardens.
