Services for Mrs Lillian Omeda Waggoner will be held, July 12, 2007, at 08:00 PM at the following locations: Highland Memorial Funeral Home (Bearden) 5315 Kingston Pike Knoxville, TN 37919 (865) 588-0567 Waggoner, Lillian Omeda Wells age 91 of Knoxville passed away July 8, 2007. She was a member of Marble City United Methodist Church and loved God, her family, and her many friends. She was noted for her beautiful handwriting skills, her delightful sense of humor and her kindness to others. Her devotion to the sport of wrestling prompted many humorous conversations. She was preceded in death by husband; Hollis Waggoner, granddaughters Elaine King and Paula Waggoner and daughter-in-law Joyce Waggoner. Beloved mother of seven surviving children; Greta Bales and husband Edd, DanWaggoner and wife Hazel, Tim Waggoner, Linda Hitch and husband Larry, Steve Waggoner and former wife Pat, Sandy Davis and husband Jim, Leisa Holt and husband Brett. She was blessed with 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She leaves special friends Lois Gryder and Julia Milsaps. Family will receive friends at Highland Memorial Funeral Home (Bearden) from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 12. A Celebration of Life Service will follow in the Chapel with Rev. Mike DeFur and Rev. Bill Rimmer officiating. Family and friends will meet in Highland Memorial Cemetery at 10:45 a.m. for an 11 a.m. graveside service on Friday, July 13 with Rev. Linda Bass and Rev. Jerrod McCormack officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Marble City United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 11113, Knoxville, TN 37939.
