Services for James Edward Irwin will be held, July 08, 2007, at 02:00 PM at the following locations: Highland South Memorial Park 9010 E. Simpson Road Knoxville, TN 37920 (865) 573-7300 Irwin, James Edward, age 68 of Knoxville passed away July 5, 2007 at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force, retired from the University of Tennessee and was a member of Fort Hill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents James Earl and Nellie Jane Irwin. Survived by sister Helen Williford of Knoxville, brother Earl Wayne Irwin and wife Carolyn of Alabama and nieces Wendy and Susan of Alabama. Family will receive friends Saturday, July 7, 2007 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Highland South Memorial Park Chapel. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2007 in Highland South Memorial Park with minister Kirk White officiating.
