Joyce Gilmore

Gilmore, Joyce Wade ? age 82, of Sevierville, died on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center. She was a retired teacher who served at Seymour Primary School and was preceded in death by husband, Dr. J. Herbert Gilmore, Jr. She is survived by her four children, Victor (Catherine) Gilmore, Birmingham, AL, Dale (Gera Summerford) Gilmore, Pigeon Forge, Winston Gilmore, Knoxville, Marie Gilmore-Gribble, Friendsville; grandchildren, Justin, Logan, Birkin, Caryce and Hannah. Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Joyce Wade Gilmore Sunday at New Hopewell Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM. Family and friends will meet at Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery in Rutledge at 10:00 AM Monday for graveside services, Dr. Darris Doyal officiating. Memorials may be sent to Sevier Co.
