Gordon H. Parrott, age 87 of Sevierville, passed away Monday, July 2, 2007, at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital. Born on January 31, 1920, he was a member of Millican Grove Baptist Church and an employee of Bush Brothers & Company for approximately 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Lou Parrott, brothers Lloyd, Claxton, Haskel, and Lowell Parrott, and sister Ruth McCarter. Survivors include his: Loving and devoted wife of 65 years: Myrtle Evans Parrott Daughter and son-in-law: Joyce and Jim Ivey of Sevierville Sister: Joyce Baker of Norfolk, VA Very special niece and her husband: Betty and Hoyle Owens of Knoxville Great-niece: Lisa McCarter of Marietta, GA Great-great niece and her husband: Shana and Eric Isbert of Mississippi Several nieces and nephews He will leave an irreplaceable void in the lives of his family. Funeral service 7 PM Thursday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Hyder officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Friday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens for interment.
