Erwin Lee Hobbs, age 74 of Kodak (formerly of Big Stone Gap, Virginia and Dayton, Ohio), passed away Monday, February 26, 2007. He retired in 1985 from Delco Moraine General Motors in Dayton, Ohio with 34 years of service. Mr. Hobbs was a United States Army veteran having served in Korea from1952-1955. He was preceded in death by wife Dora Imogene Hobbs of Kodak; father and mother George and Minnie Hobbs of Big Stone Gap, VA; sister Sybil Gauldin of Hinesville, GA; brothers Caroll Hobbs and Johnny Hobbs of Big Stone Gap, VA Survivors: Daughter: Marsha Lee Hayes and husband Cedar and their son Jesse, of Kodak Son: Michael Hobbs and wife Lori and their daughters Emily and Kelsey, of Kodak Siblings and spouses: Nancy Willis and husband Ray of Kodak, Herbert Hobbs and wife Ruth of Lapel, IN, George Hobbs, Jr. and wife Phyllis, Charley Hobbs and wife Virginia all of Blackwater, VA, Marie Roller, Virginia Neeley, Lucille Herndon and husband Wayne, Trula Hauanio, Margaret Phillips and husband Scott, James Hobbs and wife Pat, Tommy Hobbs and wife Linda, Michael Hobbs, all of Big Stone Gap, VA Several nieces and nephews Sister-in-law: Joyce Ann Collier, Knoxville Funeral service 7 PM Thursday at New Life Church of God and Rev. Greg Parton, Rev. Glenn Parton and Rev. Tim Parton officiating. Interment 1 PM Friday in Beech Springs Cemetery. Brothers-in-law and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday at New Life Church of God, 285 Murrell Meadows Drive, Sevierville. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
