James Taylor Lawson

James Taylor Lawson, age 58 of Sevierville, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2007. A hard worker and loving husband, he was owner of Mouse’s Auto Sales and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his father James N. Lawson, grandparents Pauline Barnes and James B. Barnes, and brother, Thomas Edward Lawson. Survivors: Wife: Carolyn A. Lawson Stepsons: Tyler and Logan Loveday Daughters: Elizabeth Valentine, Jamie Ellison and husband Daryl Grandchildren: Isabella Valentine, Kellie and Zachary Compton Mother: Ruby I. Lawson Brother: Mark N. Lawson and wife Ramona Sisters: Rebecca Helton and husband Steve, Rachel Rispler and husband Stuart, Helen Vinyard and husband Ray Several nieces, nephews and other extended family members Special friends: Bill Barton, Lee Hill, Art Baker, Tad and Nancy Byrd, Stu Rispler, Steve Compton, and Jim Loveday Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Tad Byrd and Bishop Curtis Manning officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 AM Thursday in Hillcrest Cemetery for graveside service and interment. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
