Peggy Simpson Blair Wheeler

Wheeler, Peggy (LALA) Simpson Blair-formerly of South Knoxville and currently residing in Lake City, Tennessee, passed away Saturday morning at UT Hospital. Peggy, a career nurse at UT Hospital attended Clinch River Baptist Church and former member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Sevier Heights Baptist Church, and Island Home Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Dexter and Sarah Simpson. Survivors: Husband of 22 years, Joe N. Wheeler; Children, Richard Blair, Douglas Blair, and Donna Blair; Stepchildren, Paul and wife Jamie Wheeler, Kathleen Wheeler, Beth Valentine and Rusty Valentine; Grandchildren, Joshua Blair Rule, Brittany Arminda Rule, Dexter Simpson Blair; Step grandchildren, Cory Joe Valentine, Andrew Nathan Valentine, Rusty Shane Valentine; Brother, Kent Simpson. Several Nieces and Nephews. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home 1 PM Wednesday and proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for a 2 PM graveside service. Rev. Larry Webster of Clinch River Baptist Church officiating. Pallbearers will be Douglas Blair, Dexter Blair, Kent Simpson, Joshua Blair Rule, Paul Wheeler and Russell Valentine. The family will receive friends 6-9 PM Tuesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway
