Beuna Lynch Martin

Martin, Beuna Lynch, age 88, of South Knoxville, passed peacefully unto the arms of her Lord Friday, February 16, 2007 at NHC-St Marys. She was a longtime employee of the late Robert M. Lash, M.D. where she was affectionately called Martin. Member of Meadowview Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Luther L. and Nila Hensley Lynch, sister, Helen L. Johnson and nephew, Ronald E. Johnson. Her family will Cherish her sweet gentle ways. Beuna was loved and admired by all who knew her, She was gracious to all. Survivors: Daughters, Sue Hatfield and Shirley Martin; granddaughters, Gina Houk and husband Monty, Lisa Faulkner and husband Chuck; Grandson, Keith Welch and wife Karen; Great-Grandchildren, Troy Houk, Reece Houk, Kellan Faulkner, Kamryn Faulkner, Charlie Welch. Former Son-in-law, Carl Hatfield; Special friends, Lillie Hatfield, Sue Addis, the White Sisters & Louise Fox and Mary Houchins. The family would like to thank the staff at NHC for their loving care. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home at 1 pm Tuesday, February 20, 2007 and proceed to Meridian Cemetery for a 2 pm graveside service. Chaplain Tom Baez officiating. Pallbearers will be Keith Welch, Carl Hatfield, Monty Houk and Chuck Faulkner and Tommy Williams. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Monday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
