Jewell Irene Branton

Branton, Jewell Irene, age 78, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2007, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Cold Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Branton; daughter, Diane Stanton; mother, Josephine Lewis; father, Carry B. Lewis; grandson, Reed Bolton; brothers, Leon Lewis and Alvin Spurling. Survivors include her sister, Edna Lewis, granddaughter, Melanie and husband James Joseph; granddaughter-in-law, Tracy Bolton; great-grandchildren, Zachary Bolton, and Jamie, Leiha, Kyle and Eric James, several nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends will meet at 11 AM Monday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the graveside service, with Rev. Horace Brown officiating. Friends and family may call at convenience on Sunday from 12 Noon to 8 PM at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
